The Story Behind BrightWire

"I've always hated negative news. Every day, I'd open my phone and feel my mood sink - another disaster, another conflict, another reason to lose hope. I kept complaining to my friends about how the news was destroying our mental health."

That's when I decided to do something about it. I created BrightWire - a place where you can stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. A newsroom that filters out the doom and surfaces stories of real progress, kindness, and hope.

Since using BrightWire, my own mental health has drastically improved. I start each day informed AND hopeful. Now, I hope more people like me can find this site — and together, we can build a community that believes in the good in this world.

Our Mission

BrightWire exists to prove that the news doesn't have to ruin your day. While traditional media focuses on conflict, disaster, and division, we believe there's another story being told - one of progress, kindness, and human triumph.

Every day, remarkable things happen. Scientists make breakthroughs. Communities come together. Strangers help strangers. The planet heals in unexpected ways. These stories deserve attention too.

What We Do

We scan hundreds of news sources daily, using advanced AI to identify genuinely positive stories — not fluff, but real news about real progress. Then our editorial team rewrites each story in our signature warm, accessible style.

The result? A news experience that leaves you informed AND hopeful. No doom-scrolling. No anxiety spirals. Just the good stuff.
