I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure investor, just launched ANZA Power with a $300 million commitment to build reliable, sustainable energy solutions across both countries. The new company isn't just focused on generating green power—it's tackling one of renewable energy's biggest challenges: making sure electricity flows consistently, even when the sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing.

ANZA Power starts with real momentum. The platform acquired a portfolio of solar hybrid plants and battery storage systems that already have projects ready to go. In Australia, 80 megawatts of solar hybrid plants in Victoria and New South Wales are locked in with 20-year contracts to a major customer, creating stable revenue that will fund even more clean infrastructure.

The company plans to break ground on an additional 80 megawatts of renewable projects across both countries in the first half of 2026. That's enough to power tens of thousands of homes while reducing carbon emissions.
