The evening's keynote address will be delivered by someone who represents the bright future Dr. King envisioned: Ms. Essence Davis, an accomplished IB Senior at Eastside High School. As the recipient of the 2026 Edna M. Hart Keeper of the Dream Scholarship Award, generously sponsored by UF Health and Publix Super Market Charities, Essence embodies the next generation of leaders carrying forward Dr. King's torch of hope and excellence.

The gala will also recognize The Honorable Diyonne L. McGraw with the prestigious 2026 Hall of Fame Award for her outstanding contributions to community service in Gainesville and Alachua County.
