Jackery's Solar Gazebo Charges Cars While Shading Barbecues

Jackery unveiled its Solar Gazebo at CES 2025, merging outdoor living with clean energy in a way that makes renewable power feel less like a sacrifice and more like an upgrade. The permanent aluminum structure measures nearly 15 feet long and includes 2 kW of solar panels built into its roof, generating roughly 10 kWh of electricity each day.

The gazebo comes equipped with outdoor outlets, built-in lighting, and ceiling mounts for fans or video projectors. One wall features a deployable movie screen, while other panels can be swapped for light-filtering screens or louvered panels depending on your needs.

But this isn't just about watching movies outside. The structure works perfectly as a carport for compact electric vehicles like the BYD Seagull, or as a charging station for e-bikes and scooters that need protection from rain. When paired with Jackery's battery storage systems, the solar power can reduce utility bills, provide backup power during outages, or shift energy use to when you need it most.

The company also introduced its Solar Mars Bot, a mobile energy storage unit that literally walks power to wherever you need it. The robot carries 2 kWh of battery storage, deploys a tracking 300-watt solar panel, and navigates itself back to its charging dock when running low. It can maneuver within two inches of obstacles and moves at a brisk walking pace of four miles per hour.

Beyond portable products, Jackery's curved solar roof tiles won multiple awards for mimicking traditional terracotta while achieving 25% conversion efficiency. The tiles could help homeowners in areas with strict aesthetic requirements finally go solar without battling their neighborhood association.
