Maryland Family Celebrates 75 Years of Reunions

The Droneburg family has been gathering every year since 1949, and this September marked their 75th reunion at Walkersville park in Maryland.

Over 60 family members spanning multiple generations shared a buffet lunch after Wes Crawford, the oldest attendee, offered the blessing. Crawford also traveled the farthest distance to be there.

The family elected new officers to help organize their 2026 reunion. Allen Droneburg will serve as president, with Nicole Montgomery as vice president and Ruby Watkins handling secretary and treasurer duties.

Children played games led by family volunteers while adults bid on wrapped mystery gifts. The day ended with a group photo capturing 75 years of tradition.
