Getting your car fixed after an accident in Morocco just got a whole lot easier, thanks to a homegrown startup that's bringing the repair industry into the digital age.

ReparTrust, founded in Morocco, announced it raised $750,000 from private investors to expand its automotive repair platform. The company tackles a problem familiar to anyone who's dealt with body shops: endless waiting, zero communication, and no idea when your car will actually be ready.

The platform works like a tracking app for your repair. Customers get real-time updates on their car's progress, while insurance companies and repair shops communicate through one centralized system. An AI assistant even helps with initial damage assessments, cutting down the time before work can start.

But ReparTrust isn't just about speed. The platform connects directly to Piyes.com, Morocco's digital marketplace for car parts, giving repair shops access to aftermarket, reused, and reconditioned parts. That means cheaper repairs and less waste heading to landfills.

The company created something called the ReparTrust Scoring system, which rates garages based on how quickly they complete work, repair quality, and customer satisfaction. Good scores help shops attract more business from insurance companies and fleet operators. Poor scores push them to improve.

Founder Mehdi Benslim built the system specifically for Morocco's fragmented repair market, where thousands of small shops operate without standardized processes. The country's automotive repair industry is part of a multi-billion dollar regional market that's largely still paper-based.

The Ripple Effect

Morocco's success with ReparTrust could reshape how emerging markets handle automotive repairs across Africa and the Middle East. By proving the model works locally first, the company positions itself to export solutions that other countries desperately need.

The platform also supports Morocco's push toward circular economy practices by making it easier for shops to choose environmentally responsible parts. Every reconditioned bumper or reused door panel keeps perfectly good materials in circulation instead of mining new resources.

ReparTrust plans to use the funding to expand across Morocco before scaling regionally, turning the country into a testing ground for automotive innovation that could benefit millions of drivers.
