In late December, the New York City Economic Development Corporation sealed the deal with Wildflower, a local developer dedicated to sustainable urban infrastructure. The company purchased a 2.6-acre parcel of city-owned land for $8.9 million, located strategically between Nassau Expressway and Rockaway Boulevard, just north of one of the world's busiest airports.

When it opens, the facility will welcome drivers around the clock with 65 charging stations and parking spaces, including at least 12 high-speed DC fast chargers.
