The Spartans boast an impressive lineup featuring Amelia Mills, Maggie Dyer, Madalynn McLaughlin, and Mia Banks, a formidable quartet that recently demolished No. 9-ranked Waconia 76-57 on December 11th. Their only loss this year came from No. 6 ranked Eastview in a nail-biting 59-54 contest on November 28th.

Stewartville's Tigers are equally compelling, sporting a 6-1 record with a standout victory against No. 7-ranked Northfield. The team's dynamic is powered by Post Bulletin All-Area Player of the Year Audrey Shindelar and Jaci Rath, both poised to play Division I basketball next season.

Lourdes High School's Eagles are soaring with a 9-1 record, largely thanks to senior forward Lauren Hust. Her recent 33-point performance and season averages of 23 points and 10 rebounds have been instrumental in their Class 2A No. 5 ranking. Nearby, Byron's Madison Ohm continues to shine, leading her team with future Division I potential and having handed Lourdes its sole defeat this season, 66-55.

Other notable teams include the undefeated Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs, led by Alyvia Engler's consistent 20-point performances, and the Hayfield/Schaeffer Academy Vikings, who recently secured impressive wins against Spring Grove and Blooming Prairie. The Vikings' 6-foot senior Lily Morrisey stands out as the area's premier shot blocker.
