Spain just welcomed a record 97 million international visitors in 2025, cementing its status as one of the world's hottest destinations. Tourism Minister Jordi Hereu called it "a collective success by the whole country" that shows Spain's magnetic appeal to travelers worldwide.

The numbers tell an impressive story. Visitor numbers jumped 3.5 percent from 2024's 94 million, while tourist spending climbed even faster at 6.8 percent to reach $157 billion. British, German, and French travelers made up about half of all arrivals, with Europeans leading the charge to Spain's sunny shores.
