11-Year-Old Cracks Up at Spelling Bee Word, Then Nails It

That's exactly what happened to 11-year-old Kennyi Aouad at the 2007 Scripps National Spelling Bee. When the judges announced his word was "sardoodledom," he couldn't help himself.

Kennyi burst into contagious laughter right at the microphone. He tried to compose himself, but every time he repeated the word, he cracked up again.

Today, Dr. Kennyi Aouad is a registered pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University. He also earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Carleton College.
