12-Year-Old Para Swimmer Breaks National Record at Debut

Alysha Aryana Mohd Khairul Azli struck gold at Para SUKMA 2024 in Shah Alam on September 7, breaking Malaysia's national record in her event. The young athlete exceeded every expectation her family and coaches had set for the competition.

"When she was at the starting block, we were really nervous and wondered whether she could do it," said her mother, Nurul Ain. "Alhamdulillah, with Allah's permission, everything went well."
