17-Year-Old Archer Hits Perfect Score, Breaks World Record

A 17-year-old archer just achieved something most athletes only dream about: a completely perfect performance that rewrites the record books.

Simon Moritz shot 150 points with 11 X-ring hits during a 15-arrow compound archery match in München-Garching, Germany on May 16. His perfect score broke American David Houser's world record for under-21 archers, which had stood since July 2014.
