3 Egyptian Startups Advance to Global Impact Competition

Three Egyptian startups are taking their tech solutions to the world stage after winning Orange Egypt's Social Venture Prize, a competition that scouts innovation addressing real world problems.

Extractor Co., Deaf Gain, and P-Vita emerged as champions from the local round of the Orange Social Venture Prize 2026. They now represent Egypt at the international competition alongside winners from other African and Middle Eastern countries.

The prize isn't just about money. These startups gain access to Orange's business technology tools, expert networks, and potential new markets that could transform promising ideas into thriving companies.

For 16 years, the Orange Social Venture Prize has identified startups using technology to tackle social and environmental challenges. This year marks another milestone for Egypt's growing entrepreneurship scene.

"Egyptian youth possess the ambition, capabilities, and ideas needed to build companies capable of competing both locally and internationally," said Maha Nagy, Chief Communication Officer at Orange Egypt. The company views supporting these young entrepreneurs as both responsibility and opportunity.

The Ripple Effect

The competition also awarded Noor the Women's Prize, opening doors for female founders in a field that desperately needs their voices. She'll compete internationally too, adding to the representation of women entrepreneurs in innovation.

All four Egyptian finalists will compete for a total prize pool of €70,000. Beyond cash prizes, they're gaining something equally valuable: connections, mentorship, and proof that Egyptian innovation can meet global standards.

Orange Egypt's continued support reflects a broader shift happening across Africa. Private companies are recognizing that backing young entrepreneurs today builds tomorrow's economic growth and creates jobs for entire communities.
