3 Sisters Sing 'Landslide' at Dad's Funeral 9 Years Later

When Emma, Robyn, and Nora Lecour stood together surrounded by sunflowers, they sang through tears for the man who taught them to love music.

Nine years ago, Ryan Lecour recorded his three young daughters singing "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac. The girls were just small children then, their voices sweet and innocent as they performed the 1975 classic their family had cherished for years.

In April, those same daughters, now 19, 14, and 13, sang it again at Ryan's funeral. He was only 43 when he suddenly passed away, leaving behind his wife Monika and six children.

Their mother posted a side-by-side video on TikTok showing the before and after. First, you see shadows of the little girls singing a fragment of the song. Then the scene fades to today, where three young women harmonize while one strums guitar, their voices breaking but beautifully clear.

"Ryan fostered their music from the beginning and was always their greatest supporter and biggest fan," Monika wrote. "I know he would have been immeasurably proud of them."

The video has received nearly two million views and over 300,000 likes. People from around the world shared their own stories about losing loved ones and how music helped them heal.

One commenter wrote, "As a girl dad, I'm so damned proud of them. Their father's love was too big to put into mere words." Monika replied with gratitude, saying they'll honor Ryan for the rest of their lives.

The song held special meaning long before the funeral. Monika used to sing "Landslide" as a lullaby to her babies. It became a placeholder in what she calls "the family choir," a tradition Ryan built with his children.

"Everything he did was spend time with his family, so it left a big hole in our lives," Emma told CTV News.
