AI Tool Helps 10,000+ Labs Find Research That Matters
A new AI-powered feed helps life science researchers cut through information overload to find the studies most relevant to their work. More than 10,000 laboratories across 70 countries are already using the platform.
Scientists drowning in research papers finally have a lifeline that finds the needle in the haystack before they waste hours searching.
QED Science just launched Insights Feed, a personalized discovery tool that helps life science researchers identify which studies actually matter for their work. The AI-powered system analyzes each scientist's published work, research interests, and projects to recommend relevant papers, preprints, and conference abstracts across 250 specialized fields.
The platform updates daily and can spot a single useful method or result buried in a paper that wouldn't show up in a typical keyword search. It even finds relevant work from fields researchers wouldn't normally follow, expanding their perspective without adding noise.
Dr. Sauvik Das Gupta, a postdoctoral researcher at Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, says the tool gives him a more contemporary picture of his field. "This is something I hardly got from a simple web search, because they mostly give you published papers, and journals are often quite slow," he explains.
Each recommendation comes with a "Why you should care" explanation connecting the research to the individual scientist's work. Researchers can refine their feed over time with feedback, and the system protects confidentiality by generating recommendations without human review of unpublished materials.

For select preprints, Insights Feed includes a quality score that helps researchers decide which work deserves a closer read. This scientific evaluation happens at the level of individual claims, reducing reliance on author reputation or institutional prestige.
The Ripple Effect
The impact reaches far beyond individual researchers. When scientists spend less time sifting through irrelevant papers and more time on promising work, discoveries accelerate across entire fields.
More than 10,000 laboratories across 1,500 institutions in over 70 countries now use the QED Science platform. The tool is free for academics, removing financial barriers to better research discovery.
"Researchers don't need another tool that gives them more papers to read," says Niv Mastboim, QED Science CEO. "They need a better way to decide which science is worth their time."
Scientists worldwide now have a smarter way to stay current without drowning in information.
