Al Ain Bootcamp Launches 50 Emirati Entrepreneurs
A five-day intensive program in Al Ain just equipped aspiring Emirati entrepreneurs with the skills to turn their ideas into real businesses. The government-backed bootcamp focused on four key sectors shaping the region's economic future.
Aspiring business owners in Al Ain just got a major boost to turn their dreams into reality. The Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp, launched this June by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and ADGM Academy, gave Emirati entrepreneurs the mentorship, skills, and industry connections they need to build successful ventures.
The five-day immersive program ran from June 8 to 12, 2026, at MZN Hub Al Ain. Participants dove deep into practical business skills like team building, prototyping, and pitching their ideas to real industry experts.
What makes this bootcamp special is its laser focus on four sectors critical to Al Ain's future: Agritech, Light Manufacturing, AI and Cybersecurity, and Culture and Tourism. Instead of general business training, entrepreneurs developed solutions directly tied to their region's economic identity and growth priorities.
"The Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp reflects Khalifa Fund's commitment to supporting and empowering Emirati entrepreneurs in Al Ain by equipping them with the skills, guidance and insights needed to build sustainable ventures," said H.E. Khalifa Saeed Al Kuwaiti, Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Sector at Khalifa Fund. The program creates real pathways for UAE nationals to scale their ambitions and careers while contributing to the country's diversified economy.

On the final day, participants pitched their business solutions to expert judges. The three winning teams earned impressive support: six months of one-on-one mentorship with local experts, exclusive access to MZN Hub's co-working spaces including 3D printing labs and podcast studios, and fast-track entry into the Khalifa Fund Entrepreneurship Competition.
The Ripple Effect
This bootcamp does more than help individual entrepreneurs succeed. By focusing on sectors like sustainable agriculture and advanced manufacturing, these new ventures will create jobs, solve local challenges, and strengthen Al Ain's economic resilience for years to come.
Ali Al Mehairi, Senior Executive Director at ADGM Academy, emphasized the importance of hands-on learning combined with real industry collaboration. The program connects talented participants to the wider innovation ecosystem and long-term growth opportunities across the UAE.
The next generation of business leaders in Al Ain is already hard at work building solutions their community needs.
