Allen ISD Earns Top Marks Among Texas Schools

Allen ISD students are thriving, and now they have the state's highest rating to prove it.

The Texas Education Agency released its 2025-26 accountability ratings in August, and Allen ISD earned an overall 'A' grade based on student achievement, academic progress over time, and success across all student groups. Only 17% of the more than 1,200 districts evaluated statewide received the top rating.

The results reflect real progress happening in Allen classrooms every day. Fourteen campuses within the district earned 'A' ratings, while seven elementary schools received 'B' grades and one elementary earned a 'C'. The district also collected 38 Distinction Designations across 15 campuses for outstanding performance in areas like college readiness and academic growth.

School progress tracks how students improve over time and compares districts serving similar populations. Closing the gaps ensures every student group succeeds, regardless of background.
