A civil rights legend who helped transform Atlanta into an international economic powerhouse is bringing his vision to Alabama this week.

Ambassador Andrew J. Young will deliver the keynote address at Tuskegee University's 30th Annual Booker T. Washington Economic Development Summit on September 11. He was the first Black congressman elected from Georgia since Reconstruction and served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations under President Jimmy Carter.
