Google built the protection into Phone by Google for all Android 12 and newer devices globally. It starts with Pixel phones and expands from there, working automatically with no setup required.

Because Google designed this on top of RCS (Rich Communication Services), other phone companies and app makers can adopt the same technology. What starts as protection for Android users could spread across the entire phone industry.
