APU Gives 100% of New Students Financial Aid in 2026

Every incoming undergraduate at Azusa Pacific University receives financial aid. That's not a goal or a promise—it's already happening in 2026.

The California Christian university launched ScholarshipUniverse, a platform that matches students with scholarships they actually qualify for. No more guessing which awards to apply for or missing deadlines because you didn't know an opportunity existed.

Here's how it works: Students log into their dashboard and instantly see which scholarships match their profile. The system shows partial and full matches based on academics, leadership experience, major, and background. From there, students can review requirements, deadlines, and award amounts, then apply directly through the platform.

Academic scholarships form the foundation of APU's aid program, ranging from $15,000 to $24,000 per year. Full-time freshmen are automatically considered based on their GPA—no separate application required. Students learn their scholarship level when they receive their admission letter.

The most competitive award is the Trustees' Scholarship, which covers full tuition for five exceptional students each year. Finalists who don't receive it still walk away with the President's Scholarship worth $24,000 annually, plus eligibility for additional awards.

Students passionate about diversity can apply for the Multi-Ethnic Leadership Scholarship, worth $11,000 per year. It recognizes high schoolers with strong leadership abilities who commit to advocating for multicultural awareness on campus.

Future engineers and scientists have their own path through CEMPS Fellowships. Students pursuing computer science, engineering, mathematics, applied mathematics, or physics receive $1,000 in their first year and $2,000 annually after that.

Veterans benefit from the Yellow Ribbon Award, where APU provides up to $14,000 and the Department of Veterans Affairs matches it. That partnership effectively doubles the support for students who served.
