"The way we trained Atlas to perform these fun movements is similar to how we teach the robot to take on real-world industrial applications," explained Alberto Rodriguez, Director of Robotics Behavior at Boston Dynamics. This marks Atlas' first public demonstration since its production version debuted at CES 2026. The robot successfully adapted to the unpredictable environment of a packed stadium with changing conditions, proving advanced robotics can operate reliably outside controlled laboratory settings.
