Australian School Seeks Stories for 40-Year Celebration

St Therese Primary School is opening its memory vault to celebrate four decades of shaping young lives in Torquay, Australia.

The Catholic school is calling on everyone who walked its halls since opening in 1986 to contribute photographs, memorabilia, and personal stories ahead of a milestone celebration on October 16 and 17. Classroom teacher Marisa Joseph says the team has been planning since January to make the anniversary special.

"We are so excited and can't wait to showcase our amazing school community while we celebrate the past with some very special guests and look towards the future," Joseph said. The school wants to document its history through the eyes of those who lived it.

The two-day celebration will bring together past and present students, teachers, and families to reconnect and reflect on the school's role in the coastal community. Organizers hope the shared stories will paint a picture of how one school has touched thousands of lives across 40 years.
