Austrian Skier Wins at Home After Nearly Quitting Sport

Manuel Feller dropped to his knees in the snow Sunday, watching three competitors fail to beat his time as the hometown crowd in Kitzbühel, Austria erupted around him. "It's only skiing, but right now, skiing feels pretty good," he said, still processing the moment that almost never happened.

The competition heads to Schladming, Austria on Wednesday for the final slalom before the Milan Cortina Olympics.
