The service launched in January 2025 with a simple idea: if you can deliver groceries quickly, why not emergency medical care? Since then, Blinkit has responded to over 4,200 emergencies across Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

The company offers the service for free right now in these areas. They're betting that quick response times can save lives in cities where traffic often turns a 10-minute drive into an hour-long ordeal.
