Bradenton Police Rescue Injured Bald Eagle in Traffic

When most people drive past a busy intersection, they're focused on traffic lights and turn signals. But one Bradenton resident looked up at just the right moment and spotted something far more urgent: a bald eagle in serious trouble.

The good Samaritan called Bradenton Police after seeing the majestic bird struggling near Eighth Street West and Manatee Avenue. Officers arrived quickly to find the eagle grounded and unable to fly, clearly injured but very much alive.
