Brighton Café Raises Funds for Bangladesh Street Kids

Street children in Bangladesh's capital are getting powerful support from an unlikely place: a small café in Brighton.

Tuntuns Café and Restaurant on Lewes Road is hosting a charity fundraising dinner on June 14, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm. The event will feature traditional, home-cooked Bangladeshi food and live Bangladeshi music in a celebration of culture and compassion.

Every £25 ticket goes straight to the Street Children Project Services in Dhaka, run by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission. The charity provides shelter, food, education, and vocational training to children living and working on Dhaka's streets.

Two café owners who also serve as trustees of DAM UK are organizing the event. Their dual roles mean they understand both the community they're serving and the children who need help thousands of miles away.
