Jack Draper's tennis dreams just got a major boost, and his new coach thinks he's ready to compete for the sport's biggest prizes.

The 24-year-old British No. 1 has teamed up with Jamie Delgado, the coach who helped Andy Murray become world No. 1 and win his second Wimbledon title in 2016. Now Delgado believes Draper has what it takes to join tennis's elite circle.

"It could be Jack. Why not?" Delgado told Sky Sports Tennis. "He's one of the few guys that can challenge Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz at the top."

Draper's recent track record backs up that confidence. Under his previous coach James Trotman, he won three ATP Tour titles, including the prestigious Masters 1000 crown at Indian Wells last March. He also reached the US Open semi-finals in 2024 and climbed to fourth in the world rankings.

Draper's path has followed a classic progression: first winning a 250-level event, then a 500, then a Masters series, and finally reaching a Grand Slam semi-final. Each step builds the confidence needed for the biggest stages.

The physical tools are there too. Draper can serve big, hit powerful groundstrokes, and match the stamina of players like Sinner and Alcaraz over five-set matches.
