Brooks Koepka Donates $1M to Children's Health Foundation

Brooks Koepka, the five-time major champion from Jupiter, Florida, is donating $1 million to the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation this week. The gift comes as part of his return to the PGA Tour after spending three years with the rival LIV Golf league.

The foundation, started by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his wife Barbara in 2004, provides critical healthcare services to children. Koepka announced the donation while playing in the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, where the charity serves as the primary beneficiary.

But that's just the beginning of Koepka's charitable impact. As part of his reinstatement agreement with the PGA Tour, the 35-year-old athlete committed to giving $5 million total to various causes.

Another $2.5 million will go directly to charities chosen by fellow PGA Tour members, letting players support causes closest to their hearts. The remaining $1.5 million will spread across 10 additional organizations.

Those recipients include St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the ALS Bridge Foundation, Best Buddies, and Hannah's Home of South Florida. Other beneficiaries focus on helping families through fertility challenges, supporting children with autism, and providing prosthetics through the UnLIMBited Foundation.
