The partnership launches with BYD's luxury Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7 SUV, which will feature smart ordering directly from the vehicle's infotainment system. No need to fumble with apps or payment systems at the charging station. The technology will expand to other BYD vehicles soon.
KFC operates over 33,000 locations across 149 countries, making this partnership potentially game-changing for EV adoption worldwide. While the service starts in China, BYD has already confirmed plans to bring its Flash Charging stations to Europe and Australia.
