Canadian Firm Brings 17 Manufacturing Jobs to Niagara Falls

A Canadian metalworking company with 60 years of family history is putting down roots in Niagara Falls, bringing nearly two dozen new manufacturing jobs to Western New York.

Metal Craft Spinning and Stamping, a fourth-generation business based in Ontario, will invest $1.3 million to transform a 24,760-square-foot facility on Hyde Park Boulevard into a state-of-the-art metal fabrication center. The company specializes in metal spinning, a technique that creates smooth, weld-free shapes used in everything from commercial lighting to roofing systems.

The company already does 70% of its business with American customers. Opening a U.S. location will help them better serve those partners while cutting through the logistical headaches created by recent steel and aluminum tariffs between the two countries.

"Our expansion into Niagara Falls marks an important step for Metal Craft as we bring over 60 years of manufacturing experience to the area," said company president Brian Rasksen. The new facility will create approximately 17 skilled positions, with hiring already underway.

The project involves installing advanced CNC machining equipment and training a local workforce in specialized manufacturing skills. New employees will receive training in CNC operation, forklift safety, and emergency response, building up the region's technical expertise.
