Carbondale Plans Free Juneteenth Block Party at Attucks Park

A free block party celebrating freedom and community is coming to Carbondale this Saturday, and everyone's invited.

The Black Chamber of Commerce of Southern Illinois will host its 2026 Juneteenth Block Party at Attucks Park, located at 800 N. Wall Street. The event runs for four hours and welcomes families from across the region to celebrate together.
