Carlos Beltran and Andruw Jones Join Baseball Hall of Fame

Beltran's numbers tell the story of a complete player. Over 20 seasons, the nine-time All-Star collected 2,725 hits, smashed 435 home runs, and swiped 312 bases. He joins Willie Mays, Barry Bonds, and Alex Rodriguez as the only players to reach 2,700 hits, 400 homers, and 300 steals.

The 1999 Rookie of the Year becomes the fifth player born in Puerto Rico to reach Cooperstown. His election came after a three-year delay following his connection to the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal, showing voters were willing to look past controversy to honor his remarkable talent.

Jones burst onto the scene at just 19 years old, homering twice in Game 1 of the 1996 World Series for the Atlanta Braves. His defensive wizardry earned him 10 Gold Gloves, placing him among only six outfielders ever to achieve that feat.

The Curacao native will become the first player from his home country inducted into the Hall. His candidacy grew steadily from just 7.3% support in his first year to finally crossing the finish line, proving that patience and persistence pay off.
