CCYB Padres Win First Championship in Nail-Biter

Three years of practice, teamwork, and determination paid off this month when the Concord-Carlisle Youth Baseball Padres won their first championship game.

The Padres edged out the Cubs 7-6 in a nail-biting finish at Ripley Field. Every run mattered in the one-point victory that brought the team its long-awaited title.

Head Coach Mike McCarthy led the team alongside assistant coaches Dan Healy and Pete Loncto. The trio guided the same group of players through three seasons of growth, building not just baseball skills but lasting bonds.
