College Thrower Breaks Own Record, Tops 18 Meters for First

The Slippery Rock University thrower launched the shot put 18.17 meters at the YSU Last Chance Meet in Youngstown, Ohio, smashing his previous personal best of 17.96 meters from earlier this season. The throw also broke the meet record and pushed him into the top eight throwers in all of Division II.
