Dartmouth Athletes Shatter 5 Records at Ivy Championships

Dartmouth athletes turned the Ivy League Outdoor Championships into a record-breaking celebration, shattering five program marks and claiming multiple medals despite finishing seventh overall as a team.

The standout moment came when Jada Jones, Veronika Ŝímová, Rebeka Žibritová, and Mariella Schweitzer blazed through the women's 4x400 relay in 3:38.01, setting a new program record and earning third place. Jones wasn't done, adding a silver medal in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.59 seconds.

J'Voughnn Blake rewrote the men's 800-meter record books with his second-place finish in 1:47.09. He then joined Liam Murray, Jack Rousseau, and Winston Morgan to set another program record in the men's 4x400 relay, crossing the line fourth in 3:08.43.

Mariella Schweitzer added her name to the record books twice in one weekend, launching herself 6.28 meters in the long jump to establish a new program best. Andie Murray claimed gold in the women's 800-meter with a time of 2:04.23.

The success extended beyond the track. Jack Inglis earned silver in the demanding decathlon, while Jack Tan cleared 4.98 meters for bronze in the pole vault. Max Klein rounded out the medal haul with third place in the shot put at 18.25 meters.
