Deepti Sharma just rewrote the record books with one of the most stunning performances in cricket history.

Playing in her 150th T20 International match on Sunday, the Indian all-rounder claimed three wickets without giving up a single run, pushing her career total to 171 wickets and making her the world's leading wicket-taker in Women's T20I cricket. She surpassed Thailand's Thipatcha Putthawong, who reached 170 wickets in the same match.

The 26-year-old bowler first matched Putthawong's record by taking two wickets in the ninth over, leaving Thailand struggling at 44/6. When she returned in the 17th over, she struck immediately, dismissing wicketkeeper Nannapat Koncharoenkai with her very first delivery to seal her historic 3/0 performance.

Her achievement carries extra weight beyond the record itself. Deepti became the first Indian bowler ever to take three or more wickets without conceding a run in a Women's T20I, joining an exclusive club of just 26 such performances worldwide.

India dominated the match from start to finish, eventually bowling out Thailand for just 65 runs in 16.1 overs. Opener Shafali Verma had set the tone earlier by smashing 64 runs from 36 balls, including eight fours and three sixes, helping India post 159/9 despite a late collapse.
