Dolly Parton's Nashville Hotel and Museum Opens This Week

Nashville is about to receive what Dolly Parton called her "love letter" to the city that shaped her legendary career.

Opening September 29 in downtown Nashville, Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel and Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum will welcome visitors to celebrate the country icon's extraordinary life. The 245-room hotel and expansive museum represent Parton's final project, completed just weeks after her death on August 25 at age 80.

Located steps from Lower Broadway in the heart of Music City, the hotel weaves Parton's songwriting legacy and iconic style throughout every floor. Her music and storytelling spirit fill the rooms, suites, and public spaces, creating an immersive experience for guests.

The hotel features two entertainment venues designed to nurture new talent. Jolene's, a top-floor bar named after one of her biggest hits, will host performances from emerging Nashville singers and songwriters. Parton's Live will focus on the city's rich songwriting culture through writers' rounds, sessions, and showcases.

The museum occupies the entire third floor, spanning 20,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and personal stories. Visitors will journey from a recreation of the small cabin in Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains where Parton grew up to displays celebrating her rise as one of the world's most recognizable entertainers.

Rarely seen objects from her personal collection will be featured throughout. The exhibits explore the people and places that shaped her path from mountain girl to global superstar who sold more than 100 million records.
