Dubai Launches Program Turning Students Into Entrepreneurs

Dubai SME and INJAZ UAE launched Founders of Tomorrow, a program that connects talented Emirati university students with real problems facing government agencies and corporations. Instead of theoretical projects, students tackle actual challenges and build businesses around solutions that companies actually need.

The program works like a bridge. Students and early-stage startups form teams to solve specific problems presented by partners like Dubai Police, American Hospital Dubai, and du. INJAZ UAE guides them through developing their ideas, while Dubai SME provides the business support to actually launch.

What makes this different is the support waiting on the other side. Promising student projects don't just win a certificate and fade away. They enter Dubai SME's full ecosystem with access to business incubation, mentorship, funding connections, and even government procurement opportunities.

Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, emphasized the practical approach. The program creates a real pathway from education to enterprise, strengthening the pipeline of Emirati talent entering Dubai's entrepreneurial world. It aligns with Dubai's D33 economic plan to double the city's economy by 2033.
