Dubai Launches Youth Startup Program to Build Founders
Dubai just created a three-day intensive program that turns young people's ideas into investor-ready pitches. Majlis Al Mustaqbal connects aspiring entrepreneurs with mentors, government experts, and potential investors to build the next generation of startups.
Dubai is giving young dreamers a fast track to becoming real business founders.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development just launched Majlis Al Mustaqbal, which translates to "Gathering of the Future." The program compresses months of entrepreneurship learning into three intense days of building, pitching, and connecting with people who can make ideas happen.
From April 28 to 30, 2026, the first group of participants will gather at Dubai Founders HQ. They'll work alongside industry experts, mentors, and government professionals to transform rough concepts into polished business pitches that could attract real investment.
The program tackles the gap between having an idea and actually launching it. Participants form teams, develop business models, practice public speaking, and rehearse their pitches before presenting to a jury panel that includes representatives from Dubai Municipality, du, WIO Bank, Aramex, and Digital Dubai.

Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, put it simply: "Majlis Al Mustaqbal is designed to help young entrepreneurs move beyond inspiration and into action." The program gives participants direct access to the people and resources they need, instead of just telling them to figure it out alone.
The Ripple Effect
This isn't a one-time event. Dubai SME plans to run Majlis Al Mustaqbal regularly, creating a steady pipeline of new founders and early-stage companies. Each edition will connect more young people to mentors, investors, and corporate partners who can help them scale.
The program supports Dubai's Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the city's economy by 2033. Building a strong entrepreneurship culture among young people now creates the high-growth companies that will power that economic expansion later.
The top three teams will receive recognition at the end of the program, but every participant leaves with something more valuable: a tested business model, connections to Dubai's startup ecosystem, and the confidence to keep building.
Dubai is betting that the fastest way to create innovative companies is to give talented young people intensive support right when they need it most.
