Egypt Launches AI Hackathon for Students Across Nation

Thousands of Egyptian students will soon get hands-on experience with artificial intelligence thanks to a nationwide training program launching next month.

Egypt's Creativa Innovation Hubs and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre are partnering with Orange Digital Center and Instant educational platform to host an AI Hackathon from August 16-20. The free program will run simultaneously across multiple regions, making cutting-edge tech training accessible to students who might not otherwise get the chance.

University students and fresh graduates will spend five intensive days learning both the theory and practice of AI development. Rather than just lectures, participants will work on real projects that give them portfolio-worthy experience before entering the job market.
