Egypt Launches National Platform for 81,000+ Entrepreneurs

Egypt is betting big on its startup future with a freshly launched platform that's already bringing together tens of thousands of innovators under one digital roof.

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) officially launched the revamped "EgyptInnovate" platform at the AI Everything Middle East & Africa Summit. The platform serves as a digital meeting point where entrepreneurs, investors, universities, and government policies connect in real time.

The numbers tell an impressive story. During its pilot phase alone, EgyptInnovate attracted 81,536 registered users, including entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem supporters. The platform currently hosts 780 entities ranging from startups to business incubators and research centers, plus over 3,700 pieces of content covering news, opportunities, and specialized articles.

Engineer Ahmed ElZaher, CEO of ITIDA, says the platform represents a strategic milestone in building Egypt's knowledge-based economy. Entrepreneurs can now showcase their business models and attract investments through an integrated database, while investors gain access to a dynamic pool of talent and ideas.

The platform runs on cutting-edge technology developed by a consortium led by Entlaq, partnering with tech firm Robusta and digital marketing company Kamelizer. This public-private partnership model brings together strategic vision and advanced technical capabilities to serve Egypt's entire innovation ecosystem.

The Ripple Effect

EgyptInnovate's AI-powered features are designed to level the playing field for Egyptian entrepreneurs. The smart assistant guides users through the ecosystem, while an interactive data map helps explore startups, investors, and research centers with advanced filtering by sector and location.

One strategic choice stands out: specialized Arabic-language content. ElZaher emphasizes that enabling entrepreneurs to access knowledge in their native language enhances digital inclusion and builds local talent capable of global competition. It's a key pillar in strengthening Arab digital identity.

Mohamed Ehab, CEO of Entlaq, notes that launching during a major international summit reflects Egypt's ability to present an integrated national innovation model. The platform connects entrepreneurs with knowledge resources, funding opportunities, and investment networks all in one place.

The platform also includes a digital startup gallery where entrepreneurs can showcase products, company profiles, and investment decks. More than 20 specialized experts form an advisory community supporting innovators through their growth journey.
