Egypt Launches National Platform for 81K+ Entrepreneurs

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency launched the new Egypt Innovate platform at the AI Everything Middle East & Africa Summit in February 2026. More than 30 countries sent representatives to witness Egypt's bold step toward becoming a regional innovation powerhouse.

The platform works like a digital meeting place where entrepreneurs, investors, universities, and researchers can connect and collaborate. It's the first fully integrated national platform for innovation in Egypt, built specifically to help startups find funding, mentorship, and resources all in one place.

The numbers tell an impressive story even before the official launch. During its pilot phase, Egypt Innovate attracted 81,536 registered users, including entrepreneurs and innovators eager to grow their businesses. The platform now hosts 780 organizations ranging from startups to business incubators and research centers, plus nearly 4,000 pieces of educational content.

Ahmed ElZaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized that the platform helps entrepreneurs showcase their business models and technology to both local and international investors. This direct connection could accelerate Egypt's transformation from idea generation to scalable ventures that create jobs and economic growth.

All content is available in Arabic, removing language barriers that often prevent talented entrepreneurs from accessing critical knowledge and opportunities.
