Electric Dirt Bike Hits 70 MPH for Just $2,500
A revived California e-bike company just launched an electric motorcycle that matches pricier competitors at half the cost. The Nomadix proves going green on two wheels doesn't require emptying your wallet.
Juiced Bikes just dropped an electric dirt bike that costs $2,500 while rivals charge twice as much for similar performance. The Nomadix can hit 70 mph and travel up to 50 miles on a single charge, putting affordable electric motorcycles within reach of everyday riders.
The company offers two versions of the Nomadix starting in August 2026. The base model features an 8-kilowatt motor hitting 60 mph, while the sportier Nomadix R packs a 15-kilowatt motor reaching 70 mph.
What makes this bike special isn't just the price tag. Juiced Bikes loaded it with quality components that cheaper electric motorcycles typically skip, including heavy-duty hydraulic brakes and proper motorcycle suspension with over eight inches of travel.
The bike weighs just 160 pounds, making it light enough to pick up easily after an off-road tumble. It delivers 280 pound-feet of torque, giving riders that instant electric acceleration without the noise of gas engines.

Parents will appreciate the speed lock feature that lets you cap the top speed with a PIN code. The seat height of 33 inches might be tall for shorter riders, but the bike handles a payload of 265 pounds comfortably.
The Bright Side
Electric motorcycles have mostly been toys for wealthy weekend warriors, with most quality models starting around $5,000. The Nomadix changes that equation by delivering comparable performance at a price point that opens the sport to budget-conscious families and young riders.
Juiced Bikes now operates under Lectric eBikes, America's largest electric bike company, which means solid customer support and parts availability. That backing gives buyers confidence this won't be another failed crowdfunding project that leaves customers stranded.
The bike currently works only for off-road riding since it lacks street certification, perfect for trail adventures and private property fun. Juiced is accepting $50 refundable deposits now, with deliveries starting this summer.
The electric motorcycle market needed exactly this: proof that sustainable recreation doesn't require premium pricing to deliver premium thrills.
