The Finnish disc golf star claimed her second World Championship title with a performance that rewrote the record books. Her 1023 event rating marks the highest-rated World Championship showing of all time, and her commanding win ties for the fourth-largest margin in the women's division history.

Salonen led every major statistical category throughout the five-round tournament. She topped the field in fairway hits, scramble percentage, circle one regulation, and circle two regulation while taking fewer out-of-bounds strokes than anyone in her division.

Her closing round was a masterclass. A 14-under performance, rated 1057, turned what was already a comfortable lead into an insurmountable gap.
