Family Quiz Night Raises £436 for Scottish School

Thirteen teams gathered at Haddington Rugby Club on March 20 for an evening that proved friendly competition can fuel real change for local schools.

Knox Academy's Parent Teacher Association hosted the family quiz night, complete with a raffle, to raise money for student programs. By the end of the evening, families had contributed £436 to support their community school.

The competition lived up to its billing. Going into the final picture round, just two points separated the top four teams, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.

Team "The Ruthless Gibbons" emerged victorious in dramatic fashion, clinching the win by a single point after acing the final round. The narrow margin made for an exciting finish that had participants celebrating their effort regardless of where they placed.

Events like this do more than fill school coffers. They bring parents, students, and teachers together outside classroom walls, building the kind of community connections that strengthen schools from the inside out.
