Fiji Muslims Celebrate Unity with Food and Fellowship

Members of Fiji's Muslim community filled the streets around Labasa Town's main mosque this week, celebrating the life of Prophet Mohammed with a message that resonated far beyond their faith: love and respect everyone, no matter their religion.

Maulana Hanzalah Tull Atqab Siddiqi traveled all the way from Auckland's AL Hujaz Masjid to speak at the event. His message carried special weight in today's world: Prophet Mohammed taught his followers to respect all religions and build bridges, not walls.
