Firefighter Adopts Kitten He Saved From Storm Drain

When multiple people spotted a kitten stuck in a storm drain along Highway 98 in Destin, Florida, they knew exactly who to call. Destin Fire Rescue's B-Shift answered the call on Tuesday and turned an emergency into a love story.

Firefighter Fuller opened the drain and carefully pulled out one very scared little kitten. The tiny feline was cold, hungry, and clearly terrified after being trapped in the dark drain.

Paramedics immediately checked over their smallest patient of the day, making sure the kitten hadn't been injured during the ordeal. The crew warmed up the shivering furball and made sure it was safe and healthy.
