Free Cancer Support Workshop Starts Feb 24 in Jersey

Cancer survivors and their caregivers in South Jersey now have access to a powerful support program that could transform their recovery journey.

Shore Medical Center's Cancer Center in Somers Point is hosting "Cancer: Thriving and Surviving," a free six-week workshop starting February 24. The program runs every Tuesday through March 31, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and welcomes anyone touched by cancer, whether they're currently in treatment, living as a survivor, or caring for someone they love.

What makes this program special is its foundation in evidence-based research from Stanford University. It's not just talk; it's proven strategies that work.

Participants will learn practical ways to manage the tough stuff: fatigue, pain, sleep problems, and the uncertainty that shadows life during and after cancer.
