Georgia baseball just rewrote the record books, and the celebration in Hoover, Alabama was decades in the making.

The Bulldogs crushed Arkansas 11-1 on Sunday to win their first SEC Tournament championship in program history. The victory came 36 years after their only previous championship appearance in 1989, when they fell short against Auburn.
