Ghana Girls School Wins Third Straight Science Quiz Spot

Mfantsiman Girls' Senior High School in Saltpond, Ghana, just became the first school from the Central Region to punch their ticket to the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz championship. Their commanding 61-point performance in the regional qualifier left three competing schools trailing far behind.

The victory marks a remarkable turnaround for the all-girls school. Just two years ago, they were ending a six-year absence from the national stage, having last competed in 2017.
